When I embarked on this journey and started this blog, I was firmly in the typical tech startup mode. Having had extensive experience working and consulting with tech startups, I believed it was my turn to apply all the valuable lessons and skills I had acquired throughout my career and put them to use in my own tech startup.
I was always skeptical of that kind of entity or startup container, considering the scope of my vision. I was uncertain whether to house my endeavors in a public or private entity and gradually made those decisions, adjusting along the way. However, the reception of my idea and its accompanying ideas proved to me that the public sector was definitely not the right place to house such endeavors, at least not for me and how I’m wired.
As I pondered all of this—the future of business, entrepreneurship, and work—my very special friend, with her whimsical and magical, sweet sun child demeanor, challenged me to dream bigger. “Dream bigger,” she said.
