As I continue to reacclimate to the creative world, another person I’ve grown to deeply admire is Athena Calderone of EyeSwoon.

I consider myself a master of my crafts, yet I am acutely aware of my limitations and even more so, I have a deep reverence for other masters, particularly those whose skill sets surpass my own. Much like Kelly Wearstler, Athena Calderone stands apart in a world entirely her own. Even what might seem simple to others is elevated to an extraordinary level under her care. Something as seemingly straightforward as setting a table… I find myself at a loss for words. Each endeavor is masterfully crafted, reflecting a level of thought and precision that is simply inspiring.
